Primary Objective - While the initial implementation of the Portal Games section attempted to showcase featured games through rich imagery and engaging design, the execution fell short of the objectives. - Enhance discoverability of featured Portal Games via an intuitive UI layout. - Improve visual hierarchy so users can easily distinguish between game titles, descriptions, and calls to action. - Ensure the section works well on mobile and desktop screens (responsive, accessible). - Align the visual style with the overall site branding to maintain consistency.

Conclusion

Although the Portal Games section successfully introduced the idea of featuring game content, the execution did not meet the goals due to inconsistent visuals, unclear information hierarchy, and lack of focus on user needs. This led to a confusing user experience and diminished engagement. From this project, I learned the importance of structured visual hierarchy, quality assets, and early usability testing. Future iterations will focus on redesigning the layout with consistent UI components, clearer messaging, and responsive behavior to deliver a better user experience overall.
